Keys locked in car
By Dave Rinnder
A few years ago I left my job for another, better position. However, I did have a soft spot both for the place I was leaving and the colleagues I worked with and the friends I had made over the years. Now it was customary at this place of work that, whoever was leaving, had both a speech made about them and they were expected to make a leaving speech themselves. I knew, of course that this would happen and so prepared a short speech to thank my colleagues and say goodbye. However, the content of my speech soon was added to in as events unfolded. I was loading up my car with the contents of my desk to take to my new position when, unbelievably, I realised I had left my keys locked in the car. Therefore, when making my speech I said that the fact that I had my keys locked in the car suggested that I was undeniably attached to the place. Everybody laughed and eventually the rescue service came and managed to get the keys locked in the car out without any damage to either my car or the keys.

Countless companies have started to manufacture carpets in all shapes, sizes and colors. Nowadays carpets can be found in most homes all over the world. With the popularity of carpets comes the problem of cleaning them. This problem has been realized and thus the increase in number and quality of carpet cleaners. Many carpet cleaning companies use a ?bait and switch` technique in their advertising to reel the customers in and then they start adding extra charges for simple things such as using detergent instead of plain water. These coupon companies often use inadequate equipment and don`t do a very good job of cleaning your carpet. Professional carpet cleaners will extend the life of the carpeting and will also contribute to better air quality resulting in reducing illness and allergies. To aid these businesses there have been countless innovations such as high powered vacuums, portable extractors, carpeting rakes, cleaning chemicals, detailing tools etc. With the help of these tools carpeting cleaning has become comparatively easier and much more productive. Professional carpet cleaners use much the same methods as the do-it-yourself approaches with two major differences. They have much more experience since they do it all day every day and thus they realize the maximum cleaning potential of each system, avoiding errors and mistakes. Also the pros use much more powerful and sophisticated equipment which if used at home would just be impractical and too expensive to buy for you at home. Furthermore the professionals are quite experienced at handling and moving heavy furniture. Also they have more expertise while dealing with specific problems that the carpet owners may not know much about. Carpet cleaners may use wet process and dry processes to clean the carpet depending on the situation. However a criticism for dry methods is that they are not as good as wet methods for getting the stains out.
